Panorama of Charlotte NC

This is a model apartment for One Charlotte, a proposed residential high rise building in Charlotte North Carolina. Since the building did not yet exist it was necessary to create the view from this apartment photographically. I went to the top of an adjacent building at dusk and made 20 overlapping photographs with my Hasselblad. I stitched these together in a computer to make a very high resolution panorama. I had sections of the panorama printed on styrene panels. I installed these in the faux window mullions which acted as a light box. I designed the image to fit the space and also designed the light boxes. This image gave a very realistic impression of what the view would be like from these apartments.
