Mother Courage
I created this image to be projected on a screen during a performance of songs from Mother Courage at Town Hall in Manhattan. This was part of an evening to celebrate the life and work of Eric Bentley on his 100th birthday. The three men looking at the scene below them are, from left to right, Eric Bentley who translated Mother Courage into English, Bertolt Brecht who wrote it and Darius MIlhaud who wrote the music for it.
The singer in the foreground is Karyn Levitt who also organized the whole event.
