Nike Showroom

A designer at Nike designed the floor graphics for this Nike wholesale showroom in Manhattan. It is an improvisation on the markings that you see on basketball courts. It is quite subtle, the lines being entirely in a gloss finish on a matte concrete background. It turned out to be cheaper and faster to do the job by hand, measuring, drawing and using masking tape, than doing it digitally, which had been the original plan. The numbers  on the concrete column are hand painted with Keim mineral stain.
