I painted three kinds of murals for Scholastic. All of them are derived from images in books that they publish. This one comes from a book called David Goes to School by David Shannon, [NO DAVID (c) & TM David Shannon. All rights reserved]. The selection and layout of all these murals is by Paula Scher of Pentagram. It is painted with Keim mineral based stain on raw brick.
